To Be A Non -Tutoring Volunteer

Laubach Literacy of Ventura County, Inc. (LLVC) is an all-volunteer organization.  This is both a challenge and an opportunity. 
The challenge part is obvious.  Where is the opportunity?

It comes in the form of knowledge and friendship. 

The following non-tutoring volunteer opportunities with LLVC are available:

• Record information for prospective students
• Maintain tutor roster, availability, and student assignment
• Conduct Prospective Tutor Intakes
• Train tutors or Assist at Tutor Training Workshop
• Serve as a Board Member
  • Maintain LLVC Financial Records
• Serve as a Board Director
  • Track Student Gains, Track Student Hours, Retention, and Reasons for Exit
  • Assist with LLVC Communications (website, contact list, brochures, e-mail)
  • Historian
  • Clerical
  • Maintain ongoing contact with donors
